Connect CRM data with surveys

Your company's internal database and CRM system may store a lot of valuable information that can be used in Beehive AI dashboards. In this document, we will cover how to securely combine the data from your CRM system with survey data collected from your consumers.

Combining your CRM system data with consumers’ survey responses will provide you with the ability to filter and segment survey respondents based on CRM data; such as the date of their latest purchase, buying frequency, total amount of money spent, etc.

How to send data into the Beehive AI dashboard:

#1 Tag responded with an ID

Generate a unique token for each user. This token should not include PII, but should be mapped within your own system to a specific user. Pass this token via the survey URL (as shown on the right), and our platform will tag each user with their unique token.

#2 Export CRM data to CSV

Export your CRM data into CSV file format, with columns containing the data you would like to import into the Beehive AI dashboard. Use the token passed in the URL as the identifying key for each row.

This is how our platform will be able to connect the survey data to your CRM data, without sharing any PII.

#3 Upload CSV using G-drive

Create a folder in Google Drive for your CSV exported data files. In the dashboard that you would like to augment, click on settings to connect your google account folder. Any CSV file that you put into that folder will be automatically imported, and will then augment the dashboard that is connected to that Google folder.

#4 Matching records

The system will continuously check for files within your folder, and will match the records based on the corresponding token(s) from step (1).

Your data in the dashboard

Your CRM data will be successfully integrated into your dashboard.
