Welcome to the Interview Widget Help Page! This tool is designed to help you manage, review, and gain insights from your interview and conversation data. With its integrated sections and automated AI insights, the widget simplifies the process of analyzing qualitative data from interviews and conversations.
General Summary of the Feature
The Interview Widget is a dashboard component designed to handle interview and conversation data. It consists of three main sections:
Topics Section: Categorize and manage the topics of conversation.
Conversation Section: View and manage the actual conversation responses.
AI Insights Section: Receive automated insights based on the conversation data.
This widget supports both moderated and unmoderated interview transcripts, providing a comprehensive tool for qualitative data analysis.
Widget Overview
Interconnectedness of the Widget
The Interview Widget's sections are highly interconnected:
Selections and Filters: When you select topics, apply filters, add new topics, etc. these changes automatically take effect across all three sections.
AI Insights: The AI insights are dynamically generated based on the current state of the Topics and Conversation sections. This ensures that insights are always relevant and up-to-date.
Real-Time Updates: Any changes made in one section will reflect in the others, providing a seamless and integrated user experience.
Widget Header
The widget header provides an overview of your interview data:
Duration: Shows the total duration of the conversation data. If unavailable, it shows “--:--” with a tooltip saying “Not available.”
Participants: Displays the number of participants present in the conversataion.
Topics: Displays the total number of identified topics.
Sentiment Bar: Shows the overall sentiment score for all responses.
Topics Section
Adding and Managing Topics
Add New Topic:
Click "+Add New" to add a new topic.
Enter the topic name and click "Save."
The AI will rerun to include the new topic in responses and insights.
View All Topics:
Click "All topics" to reset filters and view all topics.
Rename a Topic:
Hover over a topic, click the pencil icon to edit, and select "Rename."
Enter the new name and click "Save."
Delete a Topic:
Hover over a topic, click the pencil icon to edit, and select "Delete."
Confirm the deletion to remove the topic from all responses.
Sorting Topics
Sort Topics:
Click the sort dropdown to choose a sort parameter (e.g., frequency or name) and direction.
Topics will be sorted accordingly.
Conversation Section
Filtering Responses
Filter by Participants:
Expand the “Participants” dropdown to filter responses by participant names.
Select any number of participants to filter the conversation view.
Managing Responses
Manage Topic Tags:
Click the pencil icon on a response to open the "Manage Topic Tags" popup.
Add, or remove topics as needed.
Use the search bar to more easily find existing topics
Searching Conversations
Search Responses:
Enter a search query or select a topic from the search dropdown to filter responses.
AI Insights Section
Understanding AI Insights
Types of Insights:
Key Takeaways: Specific insights based on selected topics or filters.
Suggested Topics: Suggested topics to interact with; when selected they will generate additional AI insights.
Regenerating AI Insights
Regenerate AI:
Click the "Refresh AI Analysis" button after any/every change you make to refresh AI insights.
A pop-up disclaimer will appear over the widget while the AI re-analyzes the data with your changes in mind.
The widget will reload with updated insights once processing is complete.
For Best Results
Enhancing AI Accuracy
Feel free to add, or remove topics on individual responses as desired via the pencil icon on each response. The more you interact with the topics, the more accurate the AI analysis will be.
For newly added topics, assigning these topic(s) to anywhere from 5-10 relevant responses will provide the AI with valuable context, enabling it to generate faster and more accurate results.
Additional Tips
Hover Over Icons: Tooltips provide additional information when you hover over icons.
Confirmations: Confirmations are required for actions like deleting topics to prevent accidental changes.
Real-Time Updates: The widget updates in real-time as you add or edit topics, etc.
